Martin is back in the studio this week, putting the final touches to his new CD, due to be released in September. Special guests on the CD include, June Tabor, Dick Gaughan, Richard Thompson, Will Pound and Fay Hield, as well as regular band members Andy Cutting, Andy Seward, Keith Angel and BJ Cole. Martin is delighted with the progress "Everyone has played and sung as fabulously as you'd expect they would and it's so exciting for me and Andy Seward to be putting the finishing touches to it. David Angel came up for a photo shoot which went really well and now it's just slotting all those bits of the jigsaw together". In between recording tracks, Martin has been to America, Germany, Austria, Portugal and Australia this year and is looking forward to a summer of gigs and festivals and some exciting projects that are being discussed as we write. His first residential workshop of the year - in May - is sold out, but there are a few places left for the September workshop in Sheffield.
