Terry Completes his Trent Challenge

Terry Oliver, Martin's road manager, finished his kayak trip up the River Trent, from it's source in Staffordshire to where it joins the Humber in Lincolnshire. It was a fantastic accomplishment, battling strong currents, defensive swans and at times, terrible weather. Terry arrived at the Hope & Anchor in South Ferriby at 1pm on Sunday 3rd June and was welcomed by a large crowd of supporters. He would like to thank everyone who sponsored him to raise money for the RNLI and special thanks to Susie Clark who drove the support vehicle and kept him on the right track along the way! The Trent is a wonderful river, travelling through spectacular English countryside and we need to look after it and all our precious waterways. The total amount of money raised so far is over £3,000.00 and you can still donate until the end of June at www.justgiving.com/terryoliver or directly to Terry at gigs.
